Nike & LEGO Team Up: Sneakers Meet Building Blocks!
By Waleed — June 19, 2025 — Lifestyle & Fashion

Get ready for something fun! Two huge companies, Nike (the sneaker experts) and LEGO (the building block masters), are working together. They want to help kids play in new ways by mixing sports and creativity. This isn’t just about selling stuff; it’s about helping kids learn and have fun. It all starts in Summer 2025, with cool new products and big events in cities, helped by basketball star A’ja Wilson.
First Up: Build Your Sneaker!
The first big thing arrives on July 1st: the LEGO® Nike Dunk set. It has 1,180 pieces. Kids (and grown-up fans!) can build a detailed model of the famous Nike Dunk sneaker. But it’s not just for looking at!
- You can change the laces to make it look different.
- It has hidden spots to store little LEGO people or your gear.
- It even includes a spinning LEGO basketball toy for quick games.
A special LEGO basketball player figure finishes it off. This set mixes sneaker love with LEGO building fun.
Sneakers You Can Wear!
The fun doesn’t stop with the building set. Nike is making special shoes that look like LEGO:
- Nike Air Max DN x LEGO (August 1st): Made for kids, these shoes are bright and full of LEGO style. Look for bumpy bits like LEGO studs, pictures of LEGO people, and cool logos. (Costs about $155).
- More Coming Soon: Later on, watch for Nike Dunk Low shoes with LEGO colors and style too.
Play Comes to Your City!
Nike and LEGO are also bringing the fun outside. Along with the new products, they’ll have big events in cities around the world. Imagine:
- Special play areas are popping up.
- Basketball courts mixed with LEGO building challenges.
- Zones for skills and creating things.
These events start this summer and are for kids aged 9–13. They’ll get kids moving, building, and dreaming. Basketball star A’ja Wilson will help share the message online, showing kids how sports and creativity go together.
Made for Kids: Play That Matters
This whole project is focused on kids aged 9–13. It connects with what they like: sports, building, fashion, and showing who they are. Everything they make, the LEGO set, the sneakers, the city events, is designed to:
- Spark Creativity: Help kids build, change things, and imagine.
- Get Kids Moving: Make exercise fun and part of playing.
- Let Kids Shine: Help kids show off their style through what they build and what they wear.
Why It’s Awesome
This Nike and LEGO team-up is special because it creates a whole world of fun:
- Sports + Imagination: It mixes Nike’s sports energy with LEGO’s endless building fun.
- Play You Can Wear: Kids can build the sneaker model and wear the special sneakers, taking the fun everywhere.
- Real Fun to Join: The city events and online stories, with A’ja Wilson, let kids jump in, play, and feel part of something cool.
It’s more than just stuff to buy. Nike and LEGO are inviting kids to build confidence, be themselves, and discover the awesome place where playing sports meets playing with bricks!
