Nike and LEGO Team Up: Sneakers, Bricks, and Basketball Fun!
By Waleed — June 19, 2025 — Lifestyle & Fashion

Big news for kids who love sports and building stuff! Nike (the sneaker giant and LEGO (the toy brick masters) are working together. Their goal? To mix basketball excitement with creative LEGO play. They’re starting this summer with cool new products and fun events. Basketball star A’ja Wilson (a super famous WNBA player!) will help share the fun.
First Up: Build Your Own Nike Shoe! (July 1st)
The star of the show is a LEGO set of the classic Nike Dunk sneaker.
It has 1,180 pieces, so get ready for some serious building!
Once built, it looks just like the real shoe… but made of LEGO bricks.
Cool extras: Hidden spots to stash tiny things, different colored shoelaces to swap, and a little LEGO basketball that spins.
The coolest part? It comes with a special LEGO basketball player figure. Awesome for playing or showing off!
New Shoes You Can Wear! (Coming Soon)
LEGO magic is hitting real Nike shoes, too:
- LEGO Air MaDNDn (Around $155, August 1st): Made just for kids! These shoes look like LEGO bricks. Watch for bumpy “stud” details, bright pictures like LEGO minifigures, and special Nike-LEGO logos. Your feet will look like LEGO art!
- LEGO Nike Dunk Low (September 1st): These take the famous Dunk Low shoe and give it a fun LEGO makeover. Think bold colors and blocky designs, just like your favorite LEGO sets.
Fun Events: Play Basketball & Build! (June-July)
It’s not just toys and shoes. Nike and LEGO are making special play areas in big cities around the world!
- First stop: Legoland California Resort.
- More coming to places like London and Shanghai.
- Imagine playing basketball and building LEGO challenges! These events get kids running, jumping, and creating.
Who’s Gonna Love This?
- Kids 10 and up who dig basketball, sneakers, or building with LEGO.
- Families wanting fun, active play that isn’t just screens.
- Kids who think sports and building are both awesome ways to play.
Why This Team-Up is So Cool
Nike brings sports energy and cool shoes. LEGO brings endless building fun. Together, they’re making something new:
- Building Gets Sporty: That LEGO Nike shoe set lets you build your sneaker love.
- Shoes Get Playful: The new kicks look like LEGO bricks you can wear.
- Play Gets Active: The city events mix basketball moves with LEGO creativity.
It’s not just putting logos together. It’s about making sports more creative and playing more actively! With A’ja Wilson helping out and all these hands-on toys and events, Nike and LEGO want to inspire the next bunch of young athletes and builders. Pretty neat, huh?
